Happy Harvest

It's a beautiful day outside; the sky is deep blue, the air is crisp and clean, and the combines are humming along. This could mean only one thing: Harvest has begun!
I must admit that I'm still getting used to the farming lifestyle, but I love it already.
Today I drove over to where my Hubby was combining to bring him some snacks and water... and to take a few pictures along the way.

Sometimes a wide open field will remind me of the ocean; never ending, it follows the curve of the earth,  and it's very peaceful.

This is our farm truck. I have named him, "Ol' Faithful"... except when the brakes go out. Then he's not so faithful. Joel taught me how to downshift to slow it down little-by-little. Just kidding, Mom! It's not that bad - wink.   This is where I set up post to wait for Joel...
Here I am, still waiting for Joel to come pick me up in his big RED tractor...
and waiting...
And finally he arrived. For some girls, Prince Charming comes on a white stallion... mine comes in a red combine!
Okay, so I had some fun with photoshop today :)

 He's hot.
My Farmer Man.
