The Aquarium
Have you ever wondered what it's like to be on the "other" side of the glass at the aquarium; people staring at you, pointing at you; kids laughing at you and banging on the glass?
Well, I personally haven't. But every morning I find myself on the "other" side of the glass.
Living on on a farm inherently means you have A LOT of cats!!! Cats here, kitties there. There's fuzzies (as my husband calls them) everywhere. After a summer of multiple litters of kitties, I think we have moved to the status of "Crazy Cat Lady". Our kitties are friendly AND curious! Novel idea, right? Curiosity did kill the cat, or so they say.
Whenever my husband and I open our front door throughout the day, we have a few spectators; our cats! Since our screen door is glass, they have a perfect view of our day to day life.
You can almost hear the Mama kitties say, "Okay kids, just be patient. Pretty soon they'll open the door and we can see what the humans do today!" Our cats even bang on the glass to get our attention or to get us to move around if we are being too sedentary. "Mom, the humans are boring. I wanna go home!" "Just wait, Snickers. I'll try tapping on the glass to get them to move." tap tap tap. "Oh look, they moved! Cool! Mom, can I take one home with me?"
Note: I think having these pictures online will help motivate me to wash my windows. eeeeeewwww!
